Temporary Voice

A member joins a trigger channel, and Koya creates a voice channel just for them. The channel is deleted once it is empty.

Open it from the dashboard: Server Engagement › Temporary Voice.

Trigger channels

Click Create Trigger Channel and set:

• Trigger Channel: the voice channel members join to get their own.
• Channel Name Template: the name of the created channel. It accepts {username}, {displayname} and {count}.
• User Limit: the maximum number of members in the created channel. 0 means unlimited.

Caution

Koya needs the Manage Channels, Connect and Move Members permissions to create the channels and move members into them.

Commands for channel owners

The member who created a channel manages it with /tempvoice:

Command	Effect
/tempvoice lock / unlock	Close or reopen the channel to new members
/tempvoice hide / unhide	Hide or show the channel
/tempvoice limit	Set the user limit, from 0 to 99 (0 = unlimited)
/tempvoice name	Rename the channel
/tempvoice allow / deny	Let a member in, or keep them out
/tempvoice transfer	Give the channel to another member
/tempvoice claim	Take over a channel whose owner left
