Members and roles

Every player in a fleet has a rank, and a member can also hold one of three specialised roles.

Ranks

Rank	What they can do
👑 Captain	Owns the fleet, one per fleet. Everything a vice-captain does, plus the Jolly Roger
🎖️ Vice-Captain	Level up the fleet, manage members, send invites, edit settings, run the shop and boat
Member	Contributes to bounties and donations, and can hold a specialised role
Recruit	Contributes to bounties and donations

• Everyone who joins starts as a Recruit.
• A fleet has a limited number of vice-captains, and only the captain can promote someone to vice-captain.
• The captain hands the fleet to someone else with /fleet transfer.

Specialised roles

The captain or a vice-captain gives these roles to a Member, never to a recruit, a vice-captain or the captain. Each role has a single holder.

Role	What it unlocks
Treasurer	Spends the treasury: bonus shop, cosmetics, level up
Navigator	Launches and cancels expeditions
Shipwright	Upgrades the fleet’s ⛵ boat

Managing the crew

• /fleet members lists the crew, sorted by role, join date or activity. Captains and vice-captains promote, demote and kick from there, and change a member’s specialised role.
• A member who is on an expedition under way can’t be kicked until it ends. A kicked player waits before they can rejoin the same fleet.
• /fleet recruitment shows pending join requests and the invitations the fleet has sent. /fleet invite sends a new one; the fleet can only send so many per day.
• /fleet activity shows what each member contributed (donations, bounty progress, expeditions) over the last day, week or month. Captains, vice-captains and the three specialised roles can open it.
• /fleet notifications lets the captain pick a channel where Koya posts fleet news: level ups, completed bounties, arrivals and departures, promotions and more.
