Levels
Reward active members with XP, levels and role rewards.
Members earn XP by chatting, and optionally by spending time in voice channels. Each level can unlock a role, and members see their progress on their rank card with /level.
Open it from the dashboard: Server Engagement › Levels.

Level up announcement
Section titled “Level up announcement”Level up Announcement picks where Koya announces a new level:

With Current Channel, Ignored Channels lists the channels where no announcement is sent.
Level Up Message is a full message: text, embeds and buttons. Besides the user and server variables ({user.mention}, {user.username}, {server.name}…), it accepts:

To avoid noise, you can also set a Minimum Level for Announcements, or turn on Only announce role rewards so Koya only posts when a member unlocks a role. Show role rewards adds the unlocked roles to the message.
Role rewards
Section titled “Role rewards”Role Rewards pairs a level with a role. Role rewards type decides what happens to the previous ones:
- Stack roles: the member keeps every role unlocked so far.
- Remove roles: only the highest role reward is kept.
Remove role on level down takes a role back when a member drops below its level.

- XP Rate sets how much XP a message gives. Changing it is a Premium feature.
- Roles and channels can be excluded from earning XP.
- Reset on leave clears a member’s XP when they leave the server.
Voice XP
Section titled “Voice XP”Members earn XP for time spent in voice channels: each eligible minute gives a random amount between the minimum and maximum of XP per minute. AFK, deafened and lone members earn nothing, and the role and channel filters above apply to voice too.
Mode decides how voice XP counts:
- Combined: voice XP feeds the same level as messages.
- Separate: voice gets its own level, role rewards (Voice level roles) and leaderboard.
Rank card
Section titled “Rank card”Rank Card customizes the card members get with /level. Its background image, colors, font, layout and overlay are Premium features.
Import from another bot
Section titled “Import from another bot”The page offers to import existing levels from another leveling bot. The import replaces all current level data and cannot be undone.
