Warnings

This page only covers the Warnings section from the Dashboard. To know more about moderation commands, see this page.

Intro

The Warnings page allows you to create actions that are automatically triggered when a user reaches a defined amount of warns.

Sometimes, especially in larges servers, it's difficult to keep track of all the infractions a user may have done in the server.
Automated Actions are a good way to get around this - they remove the bottleneck of having to constantly remember users' infractions and they take the appropriate action that was priorly configured in the Dashboard by an administrator of yours.

tip

You can always keep track of your members' infractions using /warns list user:@Wumpus as long as you have used /warn user:@Wumpus to warn them.

For this to work, an administrator MUST create those automated actions beforehand in the Dashboard.

Configure Automated Actions

In order to configure Automated Actions, you MUST connect to the Dashboard to get access to the Warnings page where you can configure them. Make sure you have the appropriate Discord permissions to be able to access this page.

You can choose to configure automated bans, automated kicks, automated timeouts and automated mutes.

Automated Actions are available to every server with and without a Server Premium subscription.

Step-by-step creation process

  1. First, you need to authenticate in the Dashboard.

  2. And select the server in which you'd like to set up Automated Actions.

  3. Then, go on the Warnings settings page.

  4. Click the Create Automated Action [+] button to pull up the creation form.
